We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Geotechnical Technician to support our surface and underground exploration and geotechnical drilling programs. This role involves hands-on core handling, geotechnical logging, and downhole surveying to support critical geological evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and log geotechnical diamond drill cores from surface drilling programs.
- Rack and organize core samples at the surface core shack.
- Conduct downhole deviation surveys using a gyro tool in underground environments.
- Perform underground radiometric probing to assess geological features.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of core logging and survey data.
- Support additional tasks as needed, including database management and underground mapping.
This is a rotational role, 2 weeks on site, 2 weeks off site.

Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related technical field preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical core logging and/or exploration drilling support.
- Previous experience working in underground mining or exploration environments is an asset.
