We are seeking a fractional marketing specialist to help us penetrate new markets and support our business growth through strategic and tactical marketing activities.

Role Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with our Leadership and Client Success team to define, execute, and optimize marketing strategies that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the professional services and software sectors, with experience in the nonprofit sector being a strong asset. This role requires a balance of strategic planning and hands-on implementation, making it ideal for someone with a versatile marketing background who thrives in a part-time capacity. Experience working with AI products will be a considerable asset.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for a range of duties and tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

Strategic Marketing Activities:
  • Develop and refine the go-to-market strategy to expand into new industries and regions
  • Develop marketing strategies relating to new suite of AI products and our current service offerings
  • Conduct market research to identify key opportunities and competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with leadership to align marketing goals with overall business objectives
Tactical Marketing Activities:
  • Execute marketing campaigns in collaboration with the client success team
  • Launch and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage existing clients
  • Utilize various marketing platforms and tools to track and optimize campaign performance
  • Create and distribute marketing collateral, including blog posts, case studies, and social media content
  • Monitor industry trends and adjust tactics to maintain relevance and effectiveness
Role Requirements
  • Proven experience in full-cycle marketing roles within professional services and software sectors (nonprofit experience is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of marketing tools, platforms, and strategies, including email campaign management
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Knowledge of AI capabilities a strong asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with industry-specific trends and challenges
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Commitment

We are looking for someone to join us in a fractional/contract capacity (approximately 2-3 days per week, dependent on the candidate, with a flexible schedule)
