What You'll Do:

As the Manager of Accounting Services, you will:
Lead & Mentor the Accounting Team – Supervise Property Accountants and Accounting Clerks in Kelowna and the region.
Drive Operational Excellence – Oversee the production of monthly financials with efficiency and accuracy.
Advise on Regional Accounting Matters – Collaborate with the Regional Management Team on accounting strategies and solutions.
Staff Training & Development – Hire, train, and mentor Property Accountants, A/P, and A/R clerks, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
Resolve Escalated Issues – Be the go-to expert for handling complex accounting challenges.
Corporate Billing & Compliance – Ensure accurate client billing per contracts and compliance with the Strata Property Act, Real Estate Services Act, and Residential Tenancy Act.
Payroll & WorkSafe BC Processing – Manage payroll for both regional staff and clients' staff.
Financial Management – Personally manage the financials for three to four key accounts.
Onboarding New Properties – Oversee the financial setup and staff training for new clients.

What You Bring:

✔️ Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage and mentor accounting teams.
✔️ Accounting Expertise: Background in public accounting or property management accounting preferred.
✔️ Tech-Savvy Skills: Experience with Condo Manager software is a strong asset.
✔️ Knowledge of Legislation: Familiarity with BC strata and rental property regulations.
✔️ Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
✔️ Positive, Collaborative Attitude: You foster a supportive and solution-focused team culture.
