Barrie Chrysler is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, excellent communication skills, a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets. As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchase process while delivering an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in-person and via phone or email
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles and financing options
• Demonstrate vehicle features and conduct test drives
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealership inventory, promotions, and manufacturer programs
• Prepare and present pricing, trade-ins, and financing information clearly
• Negotiate sales and close deals in a professional and transparent manner
• Complete all paperwork and documentation accurately and in compliance with dealership and legal requirements
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to build strong relationships and encourage repeat business
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals
• Participate in ongoing training and development

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven sales or customer service experience (automotive experience preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with CRM systems and dealership management software is a plus
