Dream is looking for a Marketing Specialist

We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our thriving community. Dream's Industrial Team is currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to provide strategic inputs to support the Industrial Team in our Markham, Ontario Office. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management, you will assist with developing and executing all marketing initiatives and processes.

What will you do?

Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:

  • You are responsible for the strategy development behind marketing and communication efforts for the business units
  • Lead the coordination, production, and distribution of all marketing materials/initiatives
  • Launches, events, brochures, advertisements, and all other marketing materials required
  • Project manage marketing projects and consult with external consultants as required
  • Develop event calendars and project timelines outlining critical deadlines and schedules
  • Consolidate internal feedback after reviewing consultant documents, presentations, floorplans etc.
  • Create compelling presentations and writing quarterly marketing reports
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets for the business units
  • Oversee media buying and planning for the business unit marketing activities
  • Be well versed in VTS (View The Space)
  • You may need to assist with other fun and exciting projects as required
  • Responsible for creation of marketing for development program
  • Responsible for marketing for our customer solutions program.

What type of experience should you have?

These are some of the things we would like you to bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience related to marketing, previous experience with a Developer or brokerage group be an asset
  • Post-secondary degree
  • Strong computer application skills with proven proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written business communication skills
  • We expect you to be proactive and have creative critical thinking skills
  • An understanding of marketing strategy and branding is an asset
  • Project management or agency experience is an asset
  • Previous involvement in industrial real estate
  • Proficient in a variety of software programs (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat,)
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop will be an asset but not required
