Responsibilities of the Senior Cost Accountant is as follows but not limited to:

• Prepare product cost analysis for Commercial Operations to provide annual price increase to customers
• Prepare product cost estimate and analysis for Commercial Operations and Business Development to support quotations of existing and new business
• Prepare monthly production reports including, Process Order analysis and GSOR report
• Prepare quarterly reports for current routings for operations
• Prepare monthly cost centre analysis of actual vs. plan for cost centre owners
• Prepare general ledger account analysis for various accounts
• Assist with month end close by performing cost centre allocations, assessment and other journal entries
• Prepare quarterly report stating impact of standard cost update on finished good selling price
• Assist in Year- end financial audit

TMGMS

Experience Required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Cost Accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Enrolled in or recently completed accredited post-secondary accounting program (CPA, CGA, CMA, CA) or equivalent experience

Skills
• Excellent organizational and report preparations skills
• Proficient in MS office programs as well as SAP FI/CO
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible with the ability to adapt, respond quickly and manage change in a fast paced environment
