Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality, innovative office furniture solutions, committed to delivering products and services that enhance the workplace experience for their clients. They are currently seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and oversee the execution of design projects for seating, casegoods, and filing solutions within the institutional and commercial furniture sectors. This role requires collaboration with internal departments and third-party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
● Define and refine the scope of product launch projects.
● Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
● Establish policies and procedures to drive project success.
● Organize team structures, defining roles and responsibilities.
● Provide leadership and motivation to cross-functional teams.
● Monitor project progress, evaluate success, and adjust as needed.
● Participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving for engineering and design challenges.
● Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Quality, and Production teams to achieve project goals.
● Ensure all products meet quality expectations and pass PIDMA testing.
● Coordinate with third-party suppliers to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.


Qualifications:
● Diploma or University Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
● 3+ years of experience in project management.
● Proven ability to lead projects from concept to production.
● Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
● Ability to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
● CAD, SolidWorks, or ProEngineer experience is an asset.
● Experience with offshore manufacturing is an asset.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to influence and drive results through cross-functional teams.
