Our Client in the manufacturing environment is seeking a Quality Control Technician to add to their team. This position is located in North York and is full-time.
Job Details
The Quality Control Inspector works under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, will primarily be responsible for ensuring that the parts and finished goods conform to quality guidelines as designated by the Quality department. A QC Inspector ensures conformance of raw materials and finished products, assists in troubleshooting, and communicates the updates to the operations team.
Responsibilities
• Inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards
• Adjust processing machines and equipment
• Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment
• Read gauges to interpret conditions and adjust the pumping procedure
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
• Apply quality control procedure
• Monitor quality and production levels
• Examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Complete detailed inspection documentation
• Check and monitor product quality
• Calibrate components and instruments
• Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair
• Recommend corrective or enforcement action
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations
