Position Overview:

As the Deployment/Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing job staffing, coordinating deployments, and ensuring smooth operations across various projects. Your ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks will ensure success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Communication: Proactively communicate project goals, tasks, and updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Field Staff Coordination: Ensure that AFIMAC requirements are communicated clearly to field staff and that quality control is maintained throughout each project.
  • Deployment Support: Assist with hotel bookings, car rentals, and other deployment logistics.
  • Client Communication: Respond immediately to client requests in a client-focused manner.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete timesheets, schedules, and deployment-related emails.
  • Security Equipment Management: Oversee the inventory, maintenance, and distribution of all security equipment.
  • Procedure Improvement: Assist in the development and enhancement of deployment operating procedures.
  • Job Staffing & Coordination: Coordinate and execute all functions related to job staffing and the deployment of AFIMAC projects.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process for various positions.

  • Availability: Willing to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, and be on-call when needed.
  • Leadership: Capable of taking charge and managing complex challenges.
  • Stress Management: Able to work under pressure and manage stress effectively.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate with both office and field staff in a professional manner.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Additional Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in military, security, or staffing industries.
  • Licensing & Background: Valid G Class License and a clean criminal background check.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel to project sites across Canada as needed.
