Responsibilities:
- Manage daily shipment activities, monitoring shipments to ensure pickup and delivery is on time
- Planning outbound orders and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure delivery is completed.
- Prepare and maintain shipment documents (BOL)
- Maintaining and updating accurate information in company's operating systems, tracking shipment to completion
- Coordinating daily carrier activities with customers and the operations team
- Validating freight or accessorial charges for accounts to ensure billing accuracy
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, supply chain management, or related stream with a minimum 2 years' work experience in Logistics or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Must be highly customer-focused to deliver timely service to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-starter with the ability to take on new challenges
