We are hiring for a Logistics Coordinator in Mississauga, ON.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily shipment activities, monitoring shipments to ensure pickup and delivery is on time
  • Planning outbound orders and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure delivery is completed.
  • Prepare and maintain shipment documents (BOL)
  • Maintaining and updating accurate information in company's operating systems, tracking shipment to completion
  • Coordinating daily carrier activities with customers and the operations team
  • Validating freight or accessorial charges for accounts to ensure billing accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, supply chain management, or related stream with a minimum 2 years' work experience in Logistics or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Must be highly customer-focused to deliver timely service to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take on new challenges
