Peoplebiz is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Manager, HR Services and Solutions to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth. This remote role demands a proactive and seasoned professional eager to network, attend industry events, and engage with business leaders to effectively communicate our value proposition. We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in consultative sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for demonstrating how strategic consulting can drive business success. We are looking for someone who has established relationships with key decision-makers to address HR needs. This individual should have experience in selling HR software, recruitment, learning and development, payroll consulting, or program implementations.

Peoplebiz is based in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia and the preferred candidate will be based out of the region and open to travel within Canada and the US. This role is open to both direct hires and independent consultants. Compensation for this position is negotiable and will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications

To thrive in the role, you have:

  • Post-secondary degree, preferably from a business program
  • 10+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in a consulting or , financial services sales environment
  • Past experience selling HR consulting services to potential clients, developing lead generation strategies, and creating marketing materials to attract new business in the field of human resources management and strategic support
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of HR software (ADP Workforce Now, PayWorks, BambooHR, Rippling, Humi, Visier)
