JOB SUMMARY:

• The membership administrative assistant shall assist with office administration functions including updating and maintaining the Sagamok Band Registry. The Work is performed within all Sagamok Anishnawbek policies and procedures and any applicable federal and provincial legislation, regulations, and guidelines.

POSITION DUTIES:

Handle and assist with document distribution and other administrative projects and responsibilities.

Responsible for verifying and collecting household addresses on-reserve, ensure that address lists are correct and document all residences in the household.

Update Sagamok Registry by Inputting On/Off Membership contact information.

Work in collaboration with the communications department to assist in the development and implementation of Membership Communication Strategy.

Prepare and submit purchase orders and expense reports.

Prepare and provide general information to members, residents and the public.

Order Supplies required for service delivery.

Assist with coordination of membership activities/events.

Respond to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries or forward to appropriate person.

File paperwork.

Other duties as required and within the scope of Membership, Indian Registration and Estates.
