Hybrid Role - 10 days a month on-site
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Operating System (OS) Platform Services:

• Support the Solaris 11 environment, Redhat Linux 8, 9
• Perform Operating System administration, maintenance, patching and hardening practices
• Assist with the planning and execution of server installations, configuration, and tuning of Linux using
• Satellite and Ansible (Ansible Automation Platform)
• Assist with the development of ansible playbooks to automate every day administrative tasks
• Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation (build books, operational guides, etc.)
• Other related activities and deliverables, as required

Experience:

• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated work experience in a Redhat Linux 7/8/9 Environment using Satellite
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated work experience with Solaris 11 environment
• Demonstrated experience with Ansible Automation
• Demonstrated experience with UNIX System administration, hardware support and building (Scripting, Packaging, OpsCenter)

Skills:

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Network Automation, and/or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• Redhat OpenSCAP
