Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Provides holistic leadership across business analysis, project outcomes, and a team of business analysts, aligning their expertise with agile methodologies and ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
  • Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice.
  • Fosters effective communication between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of goals and requirements.
  • Manage/groom product backlog based on user needs/prioritization input.
  • Single point of contact for business analysis, agile leadership, and team coordination minimizing communication gaps, reducing the risk of misinterpretation, and promoting plus effective project outcomes.
  • Prepares training materials, training sessions on project delivery methodology in accordance with guidelines.
  • Lead presentations/demonstrations of solution design and build for consultation group and stakeholders.
  • Create & review the user flows and user stories, and ensure they meet the overall product vision and consistency across features.
  • Support QA, UAT, Architecture, and Technical activities to facilitate quality and enterprise standards being met.
  • Support agile practices and encourage the improvement of service.
  • Identify gaps and improvements to enhance process flows/customer experience journeys.
  • Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
  • Defining the product vision.
  • Ensuring that the product supports the company s overall strategy and goals.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Monitors progress, resolves problems, and reports regularly to management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct Client, cost benefit analysis, and prototyping.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Identifies dependencies with other teams and determines how to manage those dependencies without impacting the progress of the team.
General Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile Information and Information Technology (I&IT) methods and techniques associated with the development and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Communication, facilitation, negotiation, consensus building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment and proven ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and navigate through organizational approvals.
  • Knowledgeable and experience in Agile methodology and ability to educate others.
  • Experience facilitating the relationships between the Agile team and product owner and maintaining a safe working environment for the team by helping with conflict resolution.
  • Experience leading the Agile methodology and development teams in self-organization and identifying and filling in blanks in the framework.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching the teams on removing impediments.
  • Experience capturing feedback and documenting sprint reviews to administer project goals and improve team performance.
  • Leads and conducts business analysis to assess client s business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined.
  • Develops strategies, prepares business cases and cost-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.
  • Experience leading requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations, and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement.
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities, and client relationship management experience.
  • Project Methodology certifications such as Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma XX/Green/Yellow Belt, etc.
Business Analysis and Technical Skills: 25%
  • Experience leading and conducting business analysis for business projects to assess clients' business problems or opportunities, document the technical business requirements to meet the functional requirements.
  • Experience developing context diagrams, use cases and use case models.
  • Experience developing business service blueprints, user stories, technical & business process flows, process maps, data flow diagrams, and customer journey maps.
  • Experience creating systems diagrams.
  • Experience writing business cases and conducting options analysis.
  • Experience developing cost-benefit analysis and conducting feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.
  • Experience developing functional and non-functional requirements, leading and facilitating in-depth workshops to elicit, review, document and confirm business requirements, business process reengineering, business models, business rules, and user interface design, in order to create the technical framework/specifications for development of the business solution and/or infrastructure services or platforms.
  • Experience developing performance measures for projects and lines of business.
  • Hands-on experience developing effective use cases and user stories.
Experience: 30%
  • Experience on large and medium-sized projects as a business analyst or functional consultant.
  • Experience in Enterprise business architectural concepts in order to ensure that recommended technologies are consistent with OPS standards.
  • Experience developing business cases from start to finish.
  • Experience with the software development life cycle, software design, development and integration, database concepts, user interface design principles, change management, quality assurance, risk management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity planning to develop solutions and/or infrastructure services to satisfy business needs.
  • Experience conducting business analysis reviews, recommending options & changes and contingency provisions.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, functional business analysis, and architecture expertise to project staff, colleagues, and clients.
  • Service delivery management, portfolio, program/project management, and resource management to manage the business analysis to clients and provide recommendations on clients' I&IT business and infrastructure needs.
  • I&IT Cluster and corporate policies, directives, guidelines, and procedures related to service delivery processes, enterprise business architecture, current trends and technologies related to business-driven IT solutions to provide practical expertise to meet business needs, ensure traceability of business requirements to I&IT solutions and ensure compliance with OPS I&IT policies and standards.
  • Clients' policies and programs, business goals and objectives, plans, issues and resources and linkage to understand business needs, identify partnership opportunities and match technology solutions to business requirements and provide advice on application of I&IT.
Communication Skills: 15%:
  • Strong communication skills to prepare documentation, including but not limited to; reports, reviews, assessments.
  • Ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and in a user-friendly manner; maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to communicate designs and development in a clear and understandable manner.
