Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Corporate Accountant will support accounting functions across the Hall Group of Companies, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple Hall Group of Companies.
• Manage billings and collections across business units (accounts receivable).
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements (accounts payable).
• Process and reconcile inter-company invoices across operating entities.
• Assist with monthly reporting, audit preparation, and administrative support as needed.

Technical Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes andreporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Demonstrated work ethic and team collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving ability; proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Excellent time management and responsiveness.
• Highly detail-oriented and analytical.

Qualifications:

• Education: Accounting Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in the construction industry would be an asset.
