JOB SUMMARY:
- As a Mechanical Refurbishment Assembler, you will clean and assemble chemical recycling equipment, including pipe fittings, solenoids, tubing, and panels. You should be comfortable using tools and have a good understanding of how mechanical parts work
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble and build mechanical equipment using various tools
- Clean machines and replace parts as needed
- Read mechanical drawings and work orders
- Inspect and test equipment to make sure everything works correctly
- Disassemble machines and prepare them for shipment
- Use tools like drills and torque drivers to install mechanical components
- Perform safety and quality checks on finished products
- Use forklifts and cranes to help with heavy lifting, if needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of mechanical or electrical assembly experience
- Millwright Certificate 339A is a plus
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
- Experience with assembling machinery and using tools like drills and torque drivers
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- A team player with the ability to work independently
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands for tasks
- Some bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Vision abilities like close vision, distance vision, and depth perception are required
