Project Overview:

  • Our client is seeking an experienced Application Solution Architect to assist with implementing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems or custom-built web applications for clientNuclear IT.
  • The Application Support Architect will have a strong background in ECM solution design, procurement, and implementation or experience in custom web application development, with a focus on user-centered design principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Systems Design and Implementation: Lead the design, procurement, and implementation of ECM solutions, ensuring they align with organizational needs and regulatory compliance, including records management policies.
  • Custom Web Application Design and Implementation: Design and implement custom web applications, ensuring that they are user-friendly and follow user-centered design principles. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
  • Solution Design & Documentation: Conduct detailed requirements analysis and create both conceptual and detailed solution designs for the implementation of ECM or custom web applications.
  • Alignment with Business Architecture: Ensure that the proposed solutions align with the overall business architecture and IT strategy of clientNuclear IT, providing clear recommendations for system integration and improvements.
  • Documentation and Specifications: Provide detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, logical designs, technical specifications, and any other relevant documentation to support development and implementation.
  • Support clientNuclear IT Program: Provide additional tasks and recommendations as requested by the clientNuclear IT Program, ensuring that solutions are effectively integrated within the broader IT framework.

Key Deliverables:
  • Requirements analysis and resulting Conceptual and Detailed Solution Design documents.
  • Clear documentation of logical/system architecture diagrams, including system specifications and technical requirements.
  • Alignment of solution designs with business architecture and strategic goals.
  • Recommendations for system enhancements and improvements as necessary.

Desired Certification:
  • Certification or expertise in Enterprise Content Management systems or custom web application design.

Mandatory Experience:
  • Previous experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution design, procurement, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of records management and related regulatory policies.
  • Experience in custom web application design and implementation, with a focus on user-centered design principles.

Desired Experience:
  • Proven track record and history of multiple Enterprise Content Management System implementations or custom web application implementations.
  • Experience with ECM and web applications in regulated environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams to ensure project success.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, including their design, implementation, and integration within business processes.
  • Proficiency in custom web application development, including user interface design, backend systems, and integration with other enterprise tools.
  • Knowledge of records management and the ability to align IT solutions with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Experience creating technical specifications and documentation for solution design, system architecture, and integration points.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
