We are currently seeking a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our innovative team at our state-of-the-art Edmonton facility. This full-time, year-round position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of heavy equipment while promoting safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty equipment such as loaders, excavators, and trucks.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues systematically.
- Complete precise and detailed service reports for all maintenance and repair work.
- Assist with prioritizing repair orders in collaboration with management.
- Mentor and support apprentice mechanics as needed.
- Adhere to Wilco's safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure tools are in good condition.
Requirements
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (Red Seal).
- Demonstrated experience in repairing and maintaining heavy-duty equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Effective problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency with technology and ability to adapt to new software.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the heavy-duty industry.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with CVIP inspections is a plus.
