About the Role: We are looking for a talented Sr Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of information retrieval systems for omics data. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in both backend and frontend development, with experience in Python, Django or Flask, JavaScript, and React or Vue.js.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the backend API.
• Create and implement the frontend user interface.
• Integrate the backend with data storage solutions and the query engine.
• Collaborate with data engineers and bioinformaticians to ensure seamless data processing and visualization.
• Collaborate with DataOps and MLops engineer and contribute to our deployment work.
• Ensure the application is user-friendly, responsive, and performant.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer.
• Proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (Django or Flask).
• Strong skills in JavaScript and frontend frameworks (React or Vue.js).
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and data storage solutions.
