OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our practice in Fredericton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate dental professional looking to make a significant impact in the lives of patients while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions and diseases with the highest level of care.
- Provide comprehensive dental services, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry.
- Establish treatment plans based on patient needs and discuss available treatment options.
- Perform dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Educate patients on dental hygiene, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Manage patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and office staff to ensure a smooth flow of procedures and a welcoming environment for patients.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry, techniques, and best practices.
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid dental license to practice in the province of New Brunswick, Canada.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and precision in performing dental procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
- Previous experience as a dentist is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with digital dentistry and dental software will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and cosmetic dentistry is a plus.
