Position:

We are currently seeking a skilled labourer with hardscaping experience to join our team.
The primary function of this role is the installation and construction of a wide variety of hardscape elements, using both natural stone, ceramic and concrete products. This will include paths, patios, retaining walls, water feature and driveways. This position requires a steady hand, an eye for detail and a commitment to a high standard of fit and finish.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of hardscaping elements, including natural stone and concrete paving products.

• Basic carpentry tasks including decks, fences and simple concrete formwork for footings.

• Rough and fine grading

• installing drainage systems

• planting specimen trees, shrubs, container stock and building out garden beds

• installing lawns, both natural and synthetic.

• Assisting with the assembly and installation of irrigation systems

• General labor, site clean-up, digging trenches, unloading, and moving building materials

• Mobile equipment operation (skid steers, mini excavators)

• Working with laser levels, spirit levels and stringlines etc. to ensure accuracy

• Working accurately and safely with grinders, tile saws, cutoff saws and coring drills.

Selection Criteria:

• Masonry and hardscaping experience in a high-end residential setting

• Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality finished work

• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Happy to work outside year-round
