Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.Position: Maintenance Technician.Location: Vaughan, ON.Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.Industry: Manufacturing / HVAC / Maintenance.Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent.Schedule: Day shift.Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine breakdown issues and/or to order necessary parts.
• Trouble shoot repairs, install parts with a working knowledge of mechanical &electrical for efficient repair.
• Conduct and perform planned preventive & predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Minimize production downtime by responding to production calls promptly.
• Comply with all regulations relating to equipment for a manufacturing facility.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect, investigate and malfunctions.
• Record keeping of all maintenance of all activities daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-Secondary Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 4 - 5 years related maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience in machine maintenance.
• Experience in metal manufacturing plant a definite asset.
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
