About the Role

They are seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee all accounting, financial planning, and office administration functions. This role will be instrumental in driving financial health, optimizing operations, and ensuring the organization is well-positioned for sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate is a CPA-designated professional with a strong background in construction accounting, financial management, and business operations. They thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and have the ability to navigate complex financial structures while providing strategic insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability
  • Prepare and finalize financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
  • Manage intercompany accounting for multiple business entities
  • Handle foreign exchange transactions and financial matters related to international dealings
  • Provide strategic financial advice to ownership, guiding decision-making and business planning
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and ethical business practices
  • Lead office administration functions, ensuring smooth operations and workflow efficiencies
  • Prepare payroll and manage employee compensation structures
  • Communicate financial metrics and insights to leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making
Qualifications & Experience
  • CPA designation (required)
  • 2-5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop – Contractor Edition (required)
  • Experience in construction accounting, job costing, and project financial management
  • Ability to create financial models and conduct in-depth operational analyses
  • Highly organized, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
