Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is a co-ed independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. Store Clerk

Part-time position

Range of 4-25 hours/week

(More hours during peak periods in June, Aug, Sept)

Rate: $22 / hour

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Store Clerk is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Schools Gryphon Door, supplying uniforms, school supplies and other specialty items. Working independently, this position provides exceptional service to staff, students and families and builds positive relationships within our community. The Store Clerk will be caring and approachable with a comprehensive knowledge of GNS uniform requirements, helping to properly outfit students, as well as growing GNS branded non-uniform and promotional sale items. What Youll Bring

We are looking for a candidate with retail and customer service experience. You will be technically savvy and a quick study navigating the Schools point of sale system. Experience with retail operation concepts, such as maintaining store standards, cash handling, inventory control procedures, and merchandise presentation would be considered an asset.
