Millwright Apprentice – Full-Time
Location: Innisfil, Ontario
Schedule: Rotating Days & Afternoons (2-week rotation)Wage: $32.00–$35.00/hour (based on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment for irregularities and malfunctions
• Assist in performing repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
• Use machine tools (e.g., lathes, grinders) to fabricate custom parts as needed
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and safety checks on machinery
• Follow a structured preventative maintenance program and maintain accurate records
• Support safe work practices and help maintain an organized, hazard-free workspace
• Take on other duties as assigned by the maintenance or operations team

What You Bring:

• Previous hands-on mechanical experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• A mix of industry courses, on-the-job training, or formal apprenticeship in millwrighting or machinery repair
• 3–5 years of mechanical experience, including at least 1–2 years in a similar support/apprentice role
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and adapt to business needs
• Familiarity with machine foundations, industrial tools, and maintenance techniques is a strong asset
• WHMIS certification (or willingness to complete)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• A safety-first attitude and a desire to learn
