This role encompasses the organization and coordination of all corporate accounting cycles, finance cycles, and cash management across the division's subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record of driving financial performance and implementing robust financial controls in a complex manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses for all division facilities.
  • Deliver comprehensive monthly management reports to the leadership team, providing insightful explanations of variances and key performance indicators.
  • Monitor and analyze the profitability of each entity within the division, collaborating closely with plant controllers.
  • Manage division cash flow, including planning for property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) acquisitions and significant raw material purchases.
  • Ensure accurate and timely cash forecasting and reporting.
  • Monitor and control project costing for each plant, ensuring accurate cost allocation and reporting.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure the integrity of annual inventory counts.
  • Supervise and mentor plant controllers within the division.
  • Present financial results and key performance indicators at division management meetings.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor robust business processes, management policies, and internal controls, in collaboration with plant controllers and the corporate finance team.
  • Establish and standardize financial performance indicators, ensuring consistent tracking and reporting across all division plants.
  • Stay abreast of relevant tax and corporate laws, ensuring compliance with restrictive clauses and bank commitments.
  • Participate in special projects, including acquisitions and investments, providing financial expertise and due diligence.
  • Actively contribute to the deployment and optimization of accounting and IT tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a large company or division of a large company, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing costing and inventory management.
  • Proven ability to manage and analyze complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
  • Ability to travel to various company facilities.
