What You'll Do:
- Inspect, Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in automated and revolving doors to ensure functionality and safety.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance to improve performance and reduce downtime in demanding commercial spaces.
- On-Site Problem Solving: Provide quick, efficient solutions under pressure while upholding safety standards.
- Work Independently: Manage your own service schedule while meeting quality, safety, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Experience: Proven experience installing or servicing pedestrian automatic door systems.
- Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components; ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
- Safety Focused: A solid understanding of workplace safety, especially in secure or high-traffic areas.
- Efficiency: Ability to manage tasks effectively in diverse, fast-paced environments.
- Customer-Centric: Professional, clear communication with clients to ensure a positive service experience.
- Certifications: AAADM certification required. Background in automation, metalwork, and electrical systems is a strong asset.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver's license with clean driving record, legal eligibility to work in Canada, and ability to pass a criminal background check.
