Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Location: Toronto, ON
Length of Assignment: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: $21-$22/hour
Our client in Toronto is actively looking for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Rayond Reach forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, or storage areas using forklifts.
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking and storage of products and materials.
• Verify materials and products for quality, quantity, and specifications before transportation.
• Maintain organized and clean work areas, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Assist in physical inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipment goals.
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Handle material handling tasks such as packaging, labeling, and organizing materials for storage or shipment.
• Support the warehouse team with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Forklift license and 2+ years of Raymond Reach experience
• 2+ years of Material Handler experience
• Comfortable with heavy lifting ( 40lbs )
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy materials.
