- Participate in HR activities such as recruitment and retention, compensation, and benefits.
- Direct training and communication programs to interpret company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and participate in the collective bargaining process, including document control, coordination of required documents.
- Focus on employee relations and labour relations.
- Attends labour/ management meetings and ensures consistent application of the collective agreements.
- Other related HR Generalist duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5+ Years related HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- HRPA designation (CHRP, CHRL, CHRE) highly preferred.
- Working experience in a unionized environment is a definite asset.
- Thorough knowledge of current employment law and applicable legislation
- Previous experience in recruitment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
