Please note this role is part of a Hybrid Work Arrangement and resource(s) will be required to work at a minimum of 3 days per week at 5700 Yonge Street.
MUST HAVES:
- 10+ years of experience with Project Management.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management methodologies, producing documentation, collaterals, and artefacts.
- Effectively manages large project budgets and ensures a high level of fiscal control and accountability including estimates, forecasts and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Project Management Experience (35%)
- 10+ years of experience with Project Management.
- Working knowledge of industry standards such as Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management methodologies, producing documentation, collaterals, and artifacts.
- Demonstrated IT project management experience managing all phases (concept, definition, planning, implementation, and closeout) of large-scale, complex IT projects.
- Effectively manages large project budgets and ensures a high level of fiscal control and accountability, including estimates, forecasts, and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals.
- Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Content Management.
- Demonstrated experience gathering and developing requirements for project charters and integrated project plans.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and evaluating specific issues or risks, providing options analysis, and recommending action plans to mitigate the risks.
- Demonstrated experience with project management tools: MS Project, Clarity/Planview, or equivalents for standard status reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with Dispatch Services, including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) applications and related tools such as CAD to CAD, GEO, GIS Link, and others.
- Demonstrated experience leading a project from market scanning, procurement, planning, implementation to completion.
- Ability to establish and manage complex stakeholder relationships between provincial, municipal governments, first responder partners (police, ambulance, and fire) and 21 ambulance dispatch centres in the province.
- Experience working in a public safety environment, such as ambulance, fire, or police.
- Experience with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) applications.
- Experience with telephony and radio technologies such as IP-based telephony, Avaya, P25.
- Experience with implementing and integrating Medical Triage Algorithms such as MPDS.
- Experience managing projects related to 24x7 critical environments and operations.
- Demonstrated experience working with a large project team.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and distributing project updates, and progress reports to project stakeholders while managing expectations pertaining to scope and timeline constraints.
- Demonstrated experience communicating across many functional areas to actively engage project stakeholders and manage client expectations with diverse interests, technical and non-technical backgrounds using the appropriate level of political acuity and messaging for the audience.
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
- Strong discipline in resolving resourcing and interpersonal conflicts, ensuring knowledge is shared among team members to achieve project objectives.
- Demonstrated experience leading presentations for senior management, stakeholders, and teams.
