About the Company
Forge Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Wills & Estates LAA to join a boutique firm in Langley.
About the Role
  • Assist lawyers in handling matters related to probate, estate administration, elder care, and family law.
  • Oversee key processes, including client intake, drafting correspondence, affidavits, and disclosure statements for probate and administration applications.
  • Prepare and submit probate applications to the court registry.
  • Provide exceptional client service and support, ensuring a positive experience throughout the legal process.
  • Manage related files and administrative tasks, working collaboratively with the administration and accounting teams.
  • Offer backup support to the estate planning team as needed, including vacation coverage and assisting with will signings.
The Offer
The firm offers a friendly work environment and excellent culture, as well as a good work-life balance, compensation ranging between $55,000 - $70,000 and a fantastic benefits package.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of Wills and Estates law experience.
  • Good knowledge of PCLaw.
  • Recent experience handling probate and estate administration matters.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a positive attitude that aligns with our team culture.
