Our client provides consulting advice to their clients from advising on group insurance and employee benefits. They range from specializing in multi-employer plans to providing expert advice on plan administration and systems.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to reconcile AR amounts with bank feeds.

Additionally the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Monitor and update delinquency listings related to employer contributions, ensuring compliance with established timelines.
  • Collaborate with the administration team to resolve payment discrepancies and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Match accounts receivable amounts with bank feed transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for accurate financial reporting.
  • Process invoices, payments, and adjustments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with administration staff to address payment inquiries and ensure prompt remittance.
  • Maintain organized and detailed records of all AR activities and correspondence.
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks and provide support for audits as needed.
  • Perform additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned by the team.

  • 2–4+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and familiarity with bank feed reconciliation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in a TPA or similar environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
