Summary:If you value ethics, love finding creative solutions, and have a passion for compliance, then this is the job for you! Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the ideal candidate will provide maintenance support to machinery and the building.
Job Duties:

• Responsible for plant and building maintenance set forth by the Maintenance Manager.
• Follows plant maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance schedule.
• Completion of performed maintenance reports (preventative and corrective maintenance).
• Completion of Root Cause Failure Analysis reports for emergency/corrective maintenance.
• Ensures equipment, tools, and spare parts are accounted for and secured when not in use.
• Participates in preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance at facility.
• Maintaining qualifications through ongoing training programs of new and existing equipment.
• Ensures the efficient and reliable maintenance of the plant for optimized production.
• Requires a high degree of ingenuity to support the optimization of plant equipment through performance of corrective/preventative maintenance and the implantation of new products/methods.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure materials/supplies are available to complete daily and assigned maintenance.
• Follow tool control and inventory program to support routine maintenance.

Requirements:

• Millwright or Electrical Ticket will be considered an asset.
• Maintenance experience in a greenhouse setting will be considered an asset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Forklift experience.

Work Conditions:

• Physical ability to lift up to 30lbs.
• Safety equipment will be required, e.g., steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
• Overtime as required.
• Hazards associated with the trade.
• Work both indoors and outdoors
• Conditions in the greenhouse may be hot and humid in the summer. Outdoor work may also be required.
• Prolonged standing, walking, lifting, squatting, and bending.
