About the Company
Our client, a multi-service law firm in downtown Toronto is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to join their team!
About the Role
  • Handling administrative duties such as opening files, scheduling meetings, file organization, document management, accounts, etc.;
  • Preparing routine correspondence;
  • revising of documents, performing comparisons and tracking changes;
  • Dealing with and responding to client inquiries and conducting follow up as required; and
  • Organizing, saving and compiling documents received from clients or third parties;
  • Assisting with transactional documents relating to corporate reorganizations, share/asset purchase and sale transactions and all administrative aspects of transactions and post-closing matters

What You Bring
  • at least 4+ years of direct, relevant and practical experience in Corporate Law;
  • superior analytical and organizational abilities; attention to detail;
  • the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities;
  • is time conscious and deadline oriented;
  • considers themselves a consummate professional who works well under pressure;
  • proficient in MS Office;
  • experience with Docusign; and
  • has the ability to work independently & proactively with little supervision but appreciates the benefits of being part of a team.
