Our client, a multi-service law firm in downtown Toronto is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to join their team!
About the Role
- Handling administrative duties such as opening files, scheduling meetings, file organization, document management, accounts, etc.;
- Preparing routine correspondence;
- revising of documents, performing comparisons and tracking changes;
- Dealing with and responding to client inquiries and conducting follow up as required; and
- Organizing, saving and compiling documents received from clients or third parties;
- Assisting with transactional documents relating to corporate reorganizations, share/asset purchase and sale transactions and all administrative aspects of transactions and post-closing matters
What You Bring
- at least 4+ years of direct, relevant and practical experience in Corporate Law;
- superior analytical and organizational abilities; attention to detail;
- the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities;
- is time conscious and deadline oriented;
- considers themselves a consummate professional who works well under pressure;
- proficient in MS Office;
- experience with Docusign; and
- has the ability to work independently & proactively with little supervision but appreciates the benefits of being part of a team.
