Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Winnipeg. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the construction or building materials industry, with a deep knowledge of and a strong network in the Winnipeg area. This is a hunter role, requiring a driven and hardworking candidate who can build and maintain relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Winnipeg area.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
Specifics:
  • Selling to contractors, General Contractors (GCs), Commercial GCs, and Renovators.
  • Full building packages including lumber, trusses, windows, doors, shingles, plywood, and interiors.
  • A hunter role requiring a proactive approach to sales.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the construction or building materials industry.
  • A strong network in Winnipeg.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A driven and hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
