Vaughan Heart Institute is urgently hiring a part time Echocardiogram Sonographer to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of echocardiography techniques providing optimal imaging and essential information to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

DUTIES:

Conducting the following on patients: Cardiac Ultrasound - Stress-echocardiograms - Contrast studies on either echocardiogram or stress-echocardiograms as appropriate.

Prepare accurate preliminary reports for physician interpretation

Notify physician of any urgent findings

Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition

Prepare exam rooms before and after each patient

Creating positive patient service experience

REQUIREMENTS:

-ARDMS/CARDUP certification

-CMRTO certification

-Registered Cardiac Sonographer

-Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification

-Excellent Communication skills

-Proficient in Medical Terminology

-Contrast certification a strong asset

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

-Adherence to PHIPA office and safety protocols
