Our client, a reputable company in Home Healthcare, is looking to hire a JUNIOR Level 1 Help Desk Technician for an onsite role! 50% will be phone support (also using remote screen sharing tools), 50% deskside support!

Location: Bloor & Yonge

We're looking for candidates with exceptional customer service where you will be supporting internal office staff and nurses who are out in the field. Primarily 1st level support (i.e. password resets, VPN connections, etc) BOTH over the phone AND deskside/in-person support.

10:00 - 6:00 pm shift. - Monday to Friday, onsite

Will be required to be on-call (1 week per month) for emergencies - not too many calls take place during the week. Compensation for being on-call is paid day off.

What you'll be doing:

• Answer helpdesk calls, troubleshoot with the caller, document the issue, work with the internal team to find a solution if one isn't already available, ensure the ticket is closed to the satisfaction of the caller.
• Provide excellent customer service
• Assist with some network administration tasks (asset management, user account management, deploying new hardware and software, etc...)
• Work on projects assigned by the Network Manager
• Performing on-call duties on a rotating schedule
• Using remote screen sharing tools for remote support
• Deskside/in-person support

Qualifications:

• PR or Canadian Citizen
• 2-3 years of Level 1 Helpdesk experience (over 5 years of experience will not be selected for an interview)
• Phone support experience + Deskside/in-person support
• Experience working with remote screen sharing tools
• Excellent/impeccable/fluent English communications skills
• Experience working with a helpdesk ticketing system
• Good troubleshooting experience
• Experience helping users who aren't comfortable with technology
• Working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Networking fundamentals (switches, routers, firewalls)

Nice to Haves:

• CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
• Microsoft Certification (Nice to have)
• CCNA or equivalent (Nice to have)
