Our client is on the search for a US Payroll Specialist (Contract) to join their team! The candidate would be responsible for preparing the payroll for the multi-state operations. If this seems like the perfect role for you, Apply now!
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Process end-to-end payroll for multi-state US employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Ensure the payroll to union and non-union employees adheres to collective agreements and legal requirements
- Ensure accuracy of employee records, timekeeping data, and payroll calculations
- Stay current with payroll regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments on payroll-related issues
- 3+ years of US payroll processing experience
- Timeliness, attention to detail and accuracy are essential
- Experience with larger payrolls (ex. 250 employees) is an asset
- Proficiency in payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, Workday, or equivalent).
- Payroll designation is an asset
- Ability to start quickly
