About the Role
- Preparing agreements and other legal documents from written, oral or taped instructions and precedents.
- Entering dockets and preparing accounts.
- Applying proofreading and editing skills to documents and correspondence.
- Liaising with clients, lawyers and colleagues to obtain information and instructions.
- Assisting in management of lawyers' practice, i.e., opening files, filing, arranging meetings, arranging travel and/or accommodations.
- Maintaining the BF system
- Completing online filings
- Drafting standard documentation

What You Bring
- Experience: 2+ years as an LAA (securities experience preferred)
- Graduate of a recognized Legal Assistant or Paralegal Program (equivalencies may be considered)
