Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Mentor and guide the residential accounting team.
- Review financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly internal financial reports.
- Assist in preparing annual operating budgets.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes.
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends and provide insights.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Lead ad hoc projects to improve accounting processes.
- Relevant Bachelors degree in business or accounting.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Prior property accounting experience considered an asset.
- Yardi experience considered an asset.
