About the Role:

As a Lead Hand Crane Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing crane inspections, repairs, installations, and responding to service calls and breakdowns. You'll provide leadership to a skilled team while ensuring seamless operations across Hamilton, the GTA, and surrounding areas.

Pay Range: $40–$60/hour, based on your experience and expertise.
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with potential overtime.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Must hold a 442A, 309A, or 443A ticket.
• Extensive hands-on experience as an Overhead Crane Technician.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide a team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Comfortable working at heights and handling physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility for overtime and on-call work when required.
• A clean driver's abstract to operate the company vehicle.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with a technician mentoring, and coaching to ensure efficient and high-quality crane maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment for malfunctions and faults with precision.
• Respond to after-hour service calls and emergencies while ensuring exceptional professionalism.
• Perform repairs and adjustments to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of maintenance work.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence within the team.
