What you'll be doing: As the new Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you'll leverage both your technical skills with your ability to problem solve. You'll diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair trucks, motorhomes, and other heavy equipment like pickers. Specifically, you will: * Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. * Utilize specialized tools and technology to troubleshoot and resolve intricate mechanical and electrical issues * Provide guidance and share expertise to enhance overall team performance * Collaborate with management to develop and implement service strategies and improvement initiatives * Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to company policies and industry regulations * Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used The Details This is a full-time, permanent position. You'll work out of the Regina, SK facility, working Monday to Friday for 8 hours each day. You'll work out of a state-of-the-art facility with the latest equipment. The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $45/hr-$54/hr flat rate, (commensurate with experience), you'll also enjoy a robust benefits package with dental, eye care, prescription and life insurance. Qualifications * Certified Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician with proven work experience * Experience in a dealership or service-related role within the automotive sector * Experience with FORD commercial trucks and working on different brands of motorhomes is considered an asset * Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems * Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal * Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements * Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of supporting and developing team members, is considered an asset Your Application We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
