Job Description

At Foundation Health, we're looking for passionate Physiotherapists who want to make a genuine impact with their patients. You'll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with other professionals to provide holistic, evidence-based care.

As a Physiotherapist at Foundation Health, you will shape and guide our Physiotherapy practice along with our team, allowing you full autonomy in how work with patients.

Physiotherapists provide care to individuals who need assistance as they deal with the effects of aging, injury, surgery, or illness.

As a Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Provide PT services; Including assessment and management of physical impairments or disabilities with the aim of enhancing and restoring functional abilities and quality of life within the context of an interprofessional team
  • Formulate and implement individualized client centered goals based on the analysis and assessment findings and consistent with team goals
  • Identify and address educational needs for patients and their families who require support
  • Help patients who are having trouble with functional independence, movement, and physical activity to maximize patient quality of life

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Physiotherapy, or equivalent, required.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of Ontario for practice in all applicable clinical areas.
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists and the Physiotherapy Association of Ontario is an asset.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
  • Liability insurance coverage..
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain a loyal client base.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and patient safety.
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Social media or blog content creation experience is a plus.
