Here's what you'd do:

• Our Company is growing and seeking a Divisional Controller for the Engineered Products [EP] Group of clients to join our newly integrated corporate finance team.
• The Company is the parent organization of several divisions operating in the machining and fabrication space.
• We are looking for an experienced Controller who can successfully multi-task in this multi-divisional environment, lead an accounting team across multiple ERP platforms, and prepare comprehensive financial statements and status reports.
• Adhere to best practices and legal standards and implement consistent accounting policies, controls, and procedures across all divisions.
• Hire and prepare coaching plans for all accounting and finance personnel, including Accountants, Cost Analysts, AR, AR, Payroll, and other roles as adopted.
• Implement consistent contribution margin and gross margin tools and reporting across all divisions.
• Continually analyze and report production costs by job/project, focusing on materials, labor, and overheads.
• Prepare monthly income tax provisions and support income tax preparation and planning.
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Provide oversight and monitoring of project accounting to ensure complete and accurate reporting.
• Review and provide input into cost estimating for project quotes.
• Review and provide counsel regarding financial implications and risks associated with customer contracts.
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all needed financial data for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results for the EP Group.
• Collaborate with FP&A and management to analyze and provide commentary on financial performance to augment financial reporting.
• Coordinate activities of external auditors.
• Optimize the Company's working capital metrics, including DSO, DPO, and DIO.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Associate Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Controller or senior-level accounting/finance manager in a similar-sized organization.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in ASPE and IFRS and accounting principles.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in computerized Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the manufacturing industry.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• CPA designation.
• Experience with project accounting and contracts.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-driven with a focus on independent problem-solving and issue resolution.
