Location: North York, Ontario. - This role requires travelling across the GTA to meet clients (60-80%)
Compensation: Competitive salary + uncapped monthly commissions (OTE $100,000-$120,000 in year one, potential for $150,000-$200,00 within a few years)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Our client is a successful Toronto (North York)-based luxury flooring wholesale distributor and retailer of high-end flooring and wall products that enhance any space. This team is dedicated to delivering beautiful, functional designs and helping a wide range of clients, including designers, contractors, and homeowners, find the perfect products for their projects. We're looking for a results-driven B2B Sales Representative to lead business development within the Architectural and Design community, selling premium flooring and wall products into high-rise residential projects across the GTA.
Position Overview:

The Sales Representative - Architecture and Design will be the sole rep for the New Builds/High Rise division. This is a client-facing role focused on business development and account management within the architectural and design community. This individual will be selling into Architectural & Design (A&D) firms working on large scale projects for high-rise residential/commercial buildings, with a focus on securing large-scale projects. This is a sales-driven role focused on identifying, closing, and managing high-value projects within the A&D community.

This is a sales role - applicants without industry relevant, direct B2B sales experience will not be considered.

They are comfortable navigating high-value, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. The right candidate combines a strong sales acumen with a good eye for aesthetics - someone who can drive revenue while understanding what design-forward clients want.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expand and maintain business relationships with existing clients in A&D firms by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and managing accounts to foster long-term partnerships
  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the A&D sector by researching potential clients, initiating contact, and presenting suitable flooring products and services to expand the company's market presence.
  • Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery to proposal, presentation, and close.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with A&D firms, project managers, and developers.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Develop tailored proposals that demonstrate ROI and aesthetic fit to architects, designers, and other key stakeholders, that communicate the value and benefit of the companys products and services to prospective clients.
  • Maintain and develop an in-depth understanding of current industry trends and market developments to provide expert consultation and recommendations for flooring projects.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines and specifications, coordinating with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met and projects are completed successfully.
  • Manage a territory that includes mainly the GTA (potential to expand as far as Hamilton, Kingston, and Sudbury regions).
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience. Selling into construction, real estate development, or design-related industries is required.
  • Background in architecture, design, fashion, or other creative industries is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hard-surface materials such as tile, stone, mosaics, and porcelain is considered an asset.
  • Experience working on large-scale residential project plans is required.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, ability to thrive in an autonomous setting and drive their own success.
