About Client:
The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.
Rate Range: $50-$60/Hr
Job Description:

  • The position will involve applying practical skills for the implementation and support of Databricks Workspaces. As a platform engineer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that Databricks applications run on.
  • You'll focus on automation to support developers and data analysts to make their work more efficient.
  • Years of experience needed – 2- 8 year.
Technical Skills:
  • Expert in Databricks Administration.
  • Strong Databricks troubleshooting experience.
  • Good Knowledge of Databricks Unity CatLog.
  • Strong understanding of GCP core foundation, Azure DevOps, Terraform for Cloud, Git, REST API.
  • Strong knowledge of HCL, YAML, and JSON formats.
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Programming experience (Python)
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux-based OS commands.
  • Platform Infrastructure knowledge.
  • Knowledge of GCP AI & Machine Learning Products & Services.
  • Basic Knowledge of GCP networking: Interconnect, VPC, VPC-SC, VPC Firewall, subnet, Cloud DNS, route, etc.
  • Practical skills in Dev Tools.
  • Setting up, using and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Writing documentation for the processes and infrastructure you create.
  • Cooperation with developers and support teams to understand new requirements.
  • Nice to have Architecture and Design experiences of a Data Platform in a large/complex environment.
