Overview:

As a Rental Property Manager at Potvin Property, you will oversee a portfolio of 250 residential rental units in the Rockland area. Your role involves managing tenant relations, coordinating maintenance, ensuring legal compliance, and optimizing property performance. You will be responsible for maintaining high tenant satisfaction, enforcing policies, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of rental properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute, and manage lease agreements, including renewals and terminations.
• Address tenant inquiries, resolve disputes, and foster strong tenant relationships.
• Process maintenance requests, coordinate repairs with contractors and maintenance teams, and conduct property inspections.
• Enforce property policies and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with all landlord-tenant laws and handle legal matters, including filings with the Landlord and Tenant Board when required.
• Assist in setting rental pricing strategies based on market conditions.
• Monitor property expenses, track delinquencies, oversee rent collection, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide performance reports and identify areas for operational improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management with knowledge of rental operations and tenant relations.
• 2-3 years Accounting and book keeping experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of local landlord-tenant regulations and property management best practices.
• Experience managing legal matters related to rental properties, including tenant disputes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for property inspections.
