Job Title: Accounts Receivable
Location: Peel Region, ON
Job Type: Temporary
Salary: $22.00-$26.00/hour

Our client in Peel Region, ON is actively looking for an Accounts Receivable specialist to join their team.

• Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
• Generate and distribute invoices to clients in a timely manner
• Monitor accounts for overdue payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and initiate collection efforts as needed.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments by liaising with clients and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Work closely with the finance team to streamline AR processes and improve efficiency.
• Handle client inquiries regarding invoices and payments, providing professional and timely responses.
• Support audits by providing documentation and information related to accounts receivable as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, QuickBooks).
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in accounts receivable management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus but not required.
