Job Title: Java API Engineer - Fulltime (Onsite)

Primary Skills: Java API Engineer, Lambda's, streams in collections, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Agile environment, Web services, REST Services / SOAP DB, Oracle/MongoDB.

Location: Mississauga, Canada

Duration: Fulltime hire ONLY, must be able to be hired directly.

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Interview: Web Cam Interview.

Work Arrangement: Onsite

IMPORTANT: Candidate should complete Java 8 certification before client onboarding.

Manager Note: Client is looking for someone who is very good with coding and has 10+ years of experience. Candidate should have experience working with ‘good' companies. Candidate should have experience with Lambda's and Streams in Collections.'

Technical Skills

* 10+ years' experience in Java

* Spring Boot / Micro services

* Spring Boot Experience of working in an Agile environment

* Web services (REST Services / SOAP)DB (Oracle/MongoDB)

* Microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes)

* Design and Architecture (Micro-services design pattern)

* Data Structures and Algorithms

* Team City, JIRA, Git

Required Skills & Experience:

* Good knowledge on Object Oriented design principles.

* Good knowledge on Java standard library.

* Hands- on experience with Object Oriented programming.

* Hands- on experience with Spring Boot.

* Experience in Agile software development.

* Knowledge on cloud platforms.

* Should be able to coordinate with different stakeholders.

Basic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or a related field.
