Sales Representative Small businesses employ more people than any other sector, but they struggle with hiring. Every new employee is critical to their success, but they don't have access to in-house recruiting experts, and third-party agencies can be much too expensive. That's why we created Fitzii. Fitzii (https://www.fitzii.com/go) helps small and medium businesses hire better, giving them access to the best tools and recruitment services on the market while saving them time and money at every step. We think of ourselves as recruiting architects: we help our clients build the best strategies to maximize their chances of recruiting the best candidates. Now, we're looking for our newest outbound sales representative to help us continue our incredible growth in the Canadian market. That's where you come in! You're craving something more. You want to join an organization that's making a difference – and you want to make a difference too. You want to work somewhere with a more inspiring mission and a genuinely supportive culture. Someplace that really values your work, empowers you to take a lot of responsibility, and embraces autonomy and accountability. You want to work with a team that is close-knit, radically open, where professionalism comes along with fun, and where all ideas are welcome. You'll fit right in on our Growth team. As our new sales representative, you'll proactively secure new business for Fitzii by connecting with small and medium-sized businesses and demonstrating how we can solve their recruitment challenges with our services. You will: * Research and qualify prospects across a variety of segments (which segments you focus on will be largely driven by you and will align with your interests and experience) * Do cold outreach to prospects through phone and email to secure meetings (phone, online, and in-person) * Listen and understand customers' hiring challenges and deliver presentations to explain Fitzii's value proposition * Match Fitzii's services capabilities to their needs and close deals * Handoff orders to our Hiring Success (recruitment) team to deliver our services * Maintain accurate customer records in our CRM (HubSpot) * Keep track of your progress by maintaining an ongoing record of your sales funnel metrics With your professional demeanor and engaging communication style, inspiring confidence and trust in potential clients will come naturally. You're consultative and persuasive, with a resilient spirit that isn't fazed by rejection. You thrive in an environment where you can control your own results, and where you are empowered to use your self-initiative to navigate through ambiguity. This is more than just another sales job – it's an opportunity to make a difference for your customers in a meaningful way while engaging in meaningful work for yourself. Working at Fitzii: Fitzii is owned by the Ian Martin Group (http://ianmartin.com/) – one of Canada's most reputable and progressive recruitment companies, with about 150 employees around Canada, the US, and India. This year, we were named number 2 on the Best Workplaces in Canada (http://www.greatplacetowork.ca/great-workplaces/best-workplaces-in-canada-medium) by the Great Place to Work Institute, and 96% of our employees agreed with the statement that “this is a great place to work”. We think that says a lot! The Ian Martin Group is also a certified B Corp (http://www.bcorporation.net/) (ever heard of that?). B stands for Benefit, which means that our purpose goes beyond profits as we operate to benefit all our partners and meet higher standards of a social and environmental impact than the average company. Also…and this part might sound nuts…we're a self-managed team (https://blog.fitzii.com/category/self-management-teal-practices/) . That's right – no formal managers. Instead, everyone has radical freedom, and takes radical responsibility, for themselves and the business. We believe self-management is the way of the future and are one of the few organizations in Canada pioneering the way. Work with us and you'll be at the forefront of organizational evolution. Practical Stuff: This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $60K-$65K with on-target earnings of $75K-$80K, plus group benefits, pension eligibility, and lots of fun perks. After your first year, you can modify your compensation through our self-setting salary process. If full-time isn't ideal there is the option of a part-time position This position works from our sunny, brand-new head office in Oakville, close to Oakville Go station. Or out of our Downtown Toronto office, a short walk from Union Station. You'll enjoy an open and comfortable work environment, you'll love the people-friendly look-and-feel of our space. Qualifications: Above all, we're looking for someone who is passionate about helping small and medium-sized businesses hire better, and who wants to join a company with a purpose beyond profits. We're looking for someone who is self-aware, knows how they can make an impact and is ready to share their voice. Any of the following qualifications would be helpful, but if this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you even if you don't check all the boxes: * Experience in a B2B sales role * Sales experience, preferably in the staffing industry * Experience with cold-calling (in a sales role, fundraising, or related) * Experience using a CRM (HubSpot experience is an asset but not required) * Post-secondary degree or diploma * Experience working in a start-up, family business, or other small business would be useful in identifying with our customers and considered an asset How to Apply: Through Fitzii, of course! Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume. The application will assess your qualifications, personality traits, and workplace preferences, and should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. After submitting, you'll receive an email inviting you to log in and view your assessment results. We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply. If we can make this easier through accommodation in the recruitment process, please contact us with the “Help" button in the application. We will review applications, with priority given to those who have completed the assessment and look forward to hearing from you.
